Memphis Ministry Weekend – August 28-29

 

 

Saturday, August 28

Summer is winding down and we can now look at the fall and ask God to direct our steps in the next season. Our lives are never stagnant because God is never stagnant and is always moving to fulfill His plan. How does God want to change you through serving this fall?

We have the opportunity to take our ‘feet shod with the gospel’ to partner with three Memphis ministries. The work projects will happen simultaneously on Saturday, August 28. We will meet at First Evangelical at 9:00 am to launch us out in prayer with the goal of being on site by 9:30 in order to complete the work by 12:30. Gene and Dawn Kaercher will lead For the Kingdom team, David and Pattie Dingeldein will lead the Streets Ministries team and Daryl and Suzanne Vrbas will lead the Neighborhood Christian Center team.

Age Guideline: Any age that a parent feels appropriate.

In addition, on Sunday, August 29 we have an opportunity to learn about the wider picture of God’s work in Memphis through the testimony of Christians involved in ministry.   Click here to see how you can be involved in this!
