Dana Phillips

Global Outreach | Jinja, Uganda

Dana is a speech-language pathologist. She provides speech and feeding therapy services to children with special needs in various ministries, including Good Shepherd Fold Children’s Home. She is planning to train Ugandan therapists at other ministries, and provide therapy to children of missionaries in the area. Dana is also building mentoring and discipleship relationships with Ugandans.

Her current ministry goals are to continue lecturing at Makerere University’s Speech Therapy training program, begin providing private speech therapy to the Jinja community, use the new machine that FEC funded for hearing screenings in Jinja, continue developing curriculum and supporting the growth of local churches, resume small group activities through Acacia Community Church.

Dana has been a First Evan missionary since August 2019.
