Christy Bicknell

Women’s Ministry Director

Christy joined the staff of First Evan in January 2023. She graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in December 2004 with her her MABS and Rhodes College in 1996 with a BA in Psychology. Christy's ministry career began during college with a SPOTS summer placement and three summers at Kids Across America. She served at Christ United Methodist Church (Memphis, TN) as the Urban Missions Coordinator before seminary, and after seminary as the Assistant Minister to Singles and Local Outreach Minister at Northwest Bible Church (Dallas, TX). Christy has also spent significant time working in the legal marketing, non-profit and higher ed industries, and most recently as a Senior Strategist at a local marketing and communications firm. Christy and her husband Curt have one daughter.
