The evening starts with dinner at 5:00 p.m. and electives at 6:15 p.m. Elective descriptions are below. Childcare is available for those attending Midweek electives.

Midweek Fellowship Meal

5:00–6:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

During the school year the church gathers for dinner. Every person has a choice between an entrée and side items or the weekly soup and salad bar. Dessert is served with every meal. Visitors and guests are always welcome and reservations are not necessary.
First meal is FREE!

Meal Cost:
$8/adult
$4/child (3–10 years old)
$40 family max
$9/take-home meal

We take cash, checks, or Venmo @fecmemphis.

Midweek Electives


Everyday CoJourner Midweek Course

Wednesdays, January 8-April 23, 
 6:15pm-8:00 p.m., Room A111
Many Christians need a simple way to keep evangelism natural and simple in their relationships. Come to meet people who wants to learn a way to love AND share Jesus with their friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. We will have short lectures, group discussions, practices, and times for personal encouragement. Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

A prayer guide is provided each week to assist in praying for our church, ministries, sick, bereaved, country, missionaries, and military. No registration necessary. Contact Chuck Downs for more information.

Worship Choir Rehearsal

Choir Room
Be part of this intergenerational group that lifts praises to the Lord in song and supports the congregation in worship. We will also prepare for our Palm Sunday service with the symphony orchestra. If interested in joining, please contact Paige Poloni.

Men’s Midweek Discipleship Groups

Room A124
Young men will be grouped with an older man who will go through the book Strengthening Your Grip: How to be Grounded in a Chaotic World, by Charles Swindoll. The groups will work on relationships, discipleship, accountability, and growth together. Register here.

Men: Furniture Building for World Relief

Arts and Crafts Room
Join us for a time of men’s fellowship and woodworking as we build basic furniture (currently dining tables) for newly arriving refugees in partnership with World Relief. Minimal skill level is required. Feel free to bring your power sanders and drills if you have them. Contact Greg Sayres with questions.

Women’s Bible Study

Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. or Wednesday evening at 6:15 p.m.
D-Wing classrooms and Chapel
Women will study The Book of Acts and explore the history of our faith as the gospel goes out against great odds and the Church takes root. The study uses both inductive methods and a workbook, including both small-group time and large-group lectures each week. Register here.

FEC Kids Midweek

Elementary students will continue with their Awana programming. Preschoolers will review the Bible story from the Sunday before. Childcare for ages 0-2. Email Angel Snider to register.
