Orphanos, Ethiopia

Charity was a staff member of FEC, working as the Childcare Coordinator with FEC Kids beginning in September of 2021. She went through Downline’s Emerging Leaders program 2022-2023 and upon graduation, took a trip to Addis Ababa Ethiopia to serve with Steve and Margaret Winstead for a couple of weeks.

While there, Charity felt God calling her to Addis and went back to work with the Winsteads at International Evangelical Church and Make Your Mark Ministry from August-November of 2023.

Charity returned to Addis Ababa in January of 2024 and continues her ministry there. She leads the English-speaking Children’s Ministry at International Evangelical Church, creating curriculum and Bible centered teaching for children of all ages, as well as leading the English-speaking VBS every summer. She is also actively discipling and taking Amharic language lessons.
