Jake Ferwerda

Pastor of Student Ministries

Jake was born and raised in Bellingham, Massachusetts and then attended Simpson University in Redding, California where he felt God’s lead into ministry. Since graduating with a BA in Ministry, Jake  has worked at various churches and in many different roles. Coming onto staff at First Evan in 2018, Jake has since served as the Middle School Director and now serves as the Pastor of Student Ministries with a strong passion towards building community for our next generation. Jake and his wife Emilee have three children.
