Ken Boer

Pastor of Worship

Ken joined the First Evan staff in 2018 after serving in worship ministry for more than 20 years in churches in Illinois, Minnesota, and Maryland. He earned a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Music from the University of Minnesota, a graduate certificate from Bethlehem College & Seminary, and a Bachelor of Music from Wheaton College. Ken has served as a worship leader, conductor, pianist, organist, guitar player, and songwriter. He and his wife, Rachael, have four children, and enjoy the creative arts, including music, photography, and videography.
