Fletcher grew up at First Evan. He is the son of Fletcher and Judy Maynard, and the grandson of Dottie Barry.

Fletcher and Mary Elizabeth are missionaries to international students with a team called Bridges International at UNC-Chapel Hill. They seek to Win students to Christ, Build them up in their faith, and Send them back to their homeland equipped to make disciples in their spheres of influence.
Fletcher is also the national Bridges co-leader for prayer, and Mary Elizabeth serves as the Bridges' International Partnership Leader for our ministry in Paris, France.
