MEET JESUS

“God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16

Do you know Jesus?

As Christians, we believe that a man who lived two thousand years ago died, was in a tomb for three days, and then rose again. He made incredible claims: that He was God’s Son, that He could forgive people’s sins, and that He alone was the only path to God. Someone making these claims had to be either lying or crazy…unless it’s actually true.

As Christians, we believe Jesus was telling the truth. He spoke the truth, and is Himself the embodiment of truth. We believe that He came from heaven to earth on a mission to die and rise again.

When Jesus died, God placed all of our sins on Him. Each of us should be punished for living in ways that show we want to be in charge of our lives rather than submitting to our Creator. We also wrong one another. Jesus, in contrast, never did anything wrong, but gave His life to be punished in our place.

God says that if we repent of our sin and put our trust in Christ and His work on the cross, God will count our sins as paid. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)
